Han var hele tiden aktiv i arbeidet for fred i sitt hjemland Sør Sudan, de siste årene som representant for SPLM- IO. Han fikk en veldig begravelse med ca. 200 fremmøtte sørsudanere og norske venner, og vil bli sterkt savnet. Vi lyser fred over hans minne.
